So that/ such that is a structure used to connect two sentences that have a cause-and-effect relationship. It adds the meaning of "so...that". It can be used with either just an adjective or just an adverb between the two clauses, or with a noun phrase including both an adjective and a noun. Such...that is used when there is a noun phrase between the clauses.
