PT Flex products are two-component, fast-setting
polyurethane rubbers that cure at room temperature (RTV). Available
in a variety of hardnesses, these products are excellent for prototyping
and model making applications and for the casting of production parts,
props, tools, and more.
Poly 74-Series Polyurethane Rubbers consist of two
parts (A and B), which, after mixing, cure at room temperature to
flexible, high-strength, mold rubbers. Poly 74-Series Rubbers make
durable, easy-releasing molds for casting plasters and waxes without
release agents. When Poly 74-Series molds are properly prepared, they
are also excellent for casting concrete and various resins, such as epoxy,
polyester, polyurethane and acrylic
TinSil® 70-Series Silicone Elastomers are two-component,
room temperature curing mold rubbers. TinSil silicone elastomers are
condensation-cure, tin-catalyzed systems that cure to flexible rubbers.
TinSil molds have high tear strength, excellent chemical resistance,
good release properties and resistance to high temperatures. These
molds are a great choice for casting polyesters, epoxy and polyurethane
resins, polyurethane foams, plaster, waxes and many other materials.

PlatSil® Gels are 1A:1B (by weight or volume) platinumcured silicone systems that can be used as mold rubbers, to create
prosthetic appliances, and for life casting. Polytek offers an array of
accessory products that can be used independently or in concert
to increase working time, accelerate cure time, thicken the mix for
brushing/layering, thin the mix for easier pouring, or soften or harden
the rubber. Smith’s Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener and PlatSil® Deadener
LV can be added to soften and eliminate the snappy, synthetic look and
feel of ordinary silicone rubbers. “Deadened” PlatSil Gels can be made
to look, feel and move like living tissue. Unlike silicone fluid, Deadener
does not leach from the cured rubber/appliance, so bonding and use
are far easier.

: FormRub Series Liquid Rubbers consist of two parts (A
and B), which, after mixing, cure at room temperature to flexible rubber.
Molds made with FormRub are excellent for casting concrete, plaster
and wax. In addition, when coated with a proper release agent, FormRub
molds can be used to cast various resins and foams. FormRub Liquid
Rubbers are formulated for good economy with high performance and
durability
Use Poly 81-Series rubbers to make firm molds, mold
facings, stamping tools, industrial parts, rollers, gaskets, mold shells,
bumpers or pads. Poly 81-Series rubbers consist of two liquid parts (A
and B), which, after mixing, cure at room temperature to tough, durable
rubbers. They offer low sensitivity to moisture, and low viscosity for easy
mixing and pouring.
PolyPoxy® Casting Epoxies are pourable, aluminumfilled, heat-resistant, room temperature curing (RTV) systems that are
typically used for heat-resistant tooling, vacuum form tools, injection
and compression molds, RTM and RIM molds, and matched dies.
Poly GlassRub 50 Liquid Rubber consists of two parts (A
and B) that, after mixing, cure at room temperature to a flexible, clear
rubber. The transparency of Poly GlassRub 50 allows the mold maker
to see if air bubbles are trapped against the master or forming in the
casting. Additionally, clear rubber castings or objects encapsulated in
clear rubber make interesting displays or original art. Cured GlassRub
may yellow slightly over time or following UV exposure. PolyColor dyes
can be added to the liquid rubber to make a tinted or colored, yet still
clear, rubber.
Poly Plasti-Flex Liquid Plastic is a two part, room
temperature curing (RTV) polyurethane plastic that is slightly flexible
upon cure. The flexibility of this plastic makes it ideal for parts such as
decorative trim molding, props, special effects castings, and impactresistant items.
PolyPoxy® Epoxy Clays are two-component, room
temperature curing (RTV) systems. When mixed together, these
components form a soft, dough-like consistency that ultimately cures
to a hard solid with excellent toughness and dimensional stability. The
gray Resin and a colored Hardener of PolyPoxy® epoxy clays provide
visual assistance to help obtain thorough mixing. Cured epoxy clay can
be machined or carved with common wood working tools.

Smooth-On Dragon Skin FX Pro - EPOKS Kimyevi Ürünler
1. Dragon Skin® FX-Pro
Platinum Cure Silicone Rubber For Special Effects
www.smooth-on.com
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Dragon Skin® FX-Pro is a soft, stable, high performance platinum silicone rubber specifically designed for creating silicone
makeup appliances and skin effects. Dragon Skin® FX-Pro is compatible with Skin-Tite® silicone adhesive as well as medical
grade pressure sensitive adhesives for adhering silicone appliances temporarily to the skin.
Soft and stretchy FX-Pro has a Shore hardness of 2A. FX-Pro can be combined with SLACKER® deadening agent to create a
very soft silicone gel for filling encapsulated silicone pieces. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding
Silc-Pig® silicone pigments. Cured rubber can also be painted with the Psycho Paint® system.
What Makes Dragon Skin® FX-Pro Unique?
• Soft - Shore 2A hardness allows for softer appliances using less SLACKER® deadening agent
• Low Viscosity - combined with long working time reduces bubbles and makes pouring easier
• Cures Dry - will not leach silicone fluid
• Long Working Time - 10-12 minute working time is good for larger pours or injections
• Fast Cure - 40 minute cure time allows for quick turnaround of castings or molds
• More Workable - Do More - has a ‘gel’ stage - slushing the material into prosthetic molds is easier
Dragon Skin® FX Pro is mixed 1A:1B by weight or volume. Liquid rubber can be thinned with Silicone Thinner® or thickened
with Thi-Vex® II. Rubber cures at room temperature (73°F / 23°C) with negligible shrinkage.

Silicone Thinner® is a non-reactive silicone fluid that will lower the mixed viscosity of Smooth-On’s silicone rubbers. Silicone
Thinner offers the following advantages: [1] A lower mixed viscosity (A+B) means that the rubber will de-air faster when
vacuuming; [2] Mixed rubber (A+B) will flow better over intricate detail; [3] Silicone Thinner will lower the ultimate shore hardness
(durometer) of cured silicone rubber; [4] Pot life (working time) is increased in proportion to the amount of Silicone thinner used.
A disadvantage is that ultimate tear and tensile are reduced in proportion to the amount of Silicone thinner added. It is not
recommended to exceed 10% by weight of total system (A+B). See the Silicone Thinner technical bulletin (available at our website;
www.smooth-on.com) for full details.
