How to use the lesson?
 I will use the Smartboard lesson after I teach children
basic colors, such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue,
and purple.
 It will be an assessment for children.
 I will ask students to match the colors first. They will
have a connection between colors and words through
matching.
 And then, I will ask students to find things that are blue,
purple, orange, red, green, or yellow. In this way, I can
know if they identify these colors.
How to use the lesson? (Cont.)
 I may let one student match the color, and let other
students say if she/he right or wrong.
 I may let all students find things that are blue, purple,
orange, red, green, or yellow together. No hands
raising needed, just speak out.
How does the lesson support
Universal Design?
 Students can either move or point objects or speak out.
 The lesson includes words and colorful pictures.
 There is a listening sign at the upper right corner. The
lesson is both verbal and visual.
