This document describes the process and system for a smart restaurant management system. The key aspects are:
1) Customers enter and their entry is registered by incrementing a visitor counter. They can then select and order food from an interactive table display.
2) Orders are sent to the manager and kitchen for preparation. The order status is updated on the customer table display.
3) When the food is ready, it is served to the customer. They then pay the bill on the table display before exiting, decrementing the visitor counter.
4) The system aims to streamline the ordering and management process using technologies like PIC microcontrollers, LCD displays, sensors and XBee for wireless communication
