This document describes a "Smart Chicken Cage" project using an Arduino Uno with LabVIEW. The smart chicken cage uses sensors like a light sensor and rain sensor to automatically open and close the cage door depending on daylight and weather conditions. It also uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller to control components like a servo motor, protoboard, jumper cables, and sensors. The project uses LabVIEW software to program the Arduino Uno to read sensor readings and control the servo motor to open and close the cage door accordingly.

an innovation to make it easier for poultry farmers, especially chickens
to not have to bother opening and closing doors during the day and
night and when it rains so this tool is very practical and effective to use

In this project Arduino functions as a
microcontroller, where all programming
containing commands can be accommodated
by Arduino to be distributed to machines that
are designed, or to be transferred to
computers.

Because it uses a light sensor and a rainwater sensor then during the
daytime the door on the cage will automatically open along with the
lamp turn off. And while at night the door will close along with the lamp
turn on. other than that when it rains the door will automatically close
and when it ceases again the door will automatically open if during the
day.

LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is a visual
programming language developed by National Instruments. It's very useful for data
acquisition (purpose of this tutorial), instrument control, industry automations.
Arduino is an open-source computer hardware used to develop interactive objects,
taking inputs from a variety of switches or sensors, and controlling a variety of lights,
motors, and other physical outputs.
