OpenVR is a low-cost virtual reality headset created as an alternative to the Oculus Rift. The initial prototype used duct tape with no head tracking. Version 1.0 added 9-axis sensor-based head tracking using an Arduino board. It has received interest from over 12,000 unique visitors since its release. Future improvements could include better light isolation and a mobile version.

● Free from proprietary software of Oculus Rift
● Oculus Rift does not promise absolute future support for DK1.. DKx
● You can always hack it!
