• SMALL GROUPS ARE:
• USUALLY A GROUP OF 4-6 STUDENTS
• THE STUDENTS ARE STRATEGICALLY PLACED BASED ON THEIR
READING ABILITY
• THE TEACHER WORKS WITH THE INDIVIDUAL GROUPS ON THE
AREAS THEY ARE STRUGGLING IN.

  1. This tutorial is for elementary school teachers, who work with kindergarten through 2nd grade. The learners, or teachers, will use the tutorial to learn what small groups and stations are about. They will then view other teachers using stations in action, and how they work. By researching, they will look for different ideas, which will potentially be used in their own classrooms. Then you will take the plan, which you take to fit your classroom, and take back to your own classroom.
