Digital marketing refers to the promotion of products, services or brands through various forms of digital media, such as websites, social media platforms, email, search engines, mobile apps and other digital channels. It is a data-driven and targeted approach to reaching customers and building relationships with them.
Digital marketing encompasses a range of strategies and tactics, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer marketing. Each strategy has its own set of best practices and tactics, and they can be combined and customized to fit a business's unique goals and target audience.
One of the key advantages of digital marketing is its ability to measure and analyze results in real-time, allowing businesses to make data-driven decisions and optimize their campaigns for maximum effectiveness. It is also generally more cost-effective than traditional marketing methods, as it allows businesses to reach a larger audience at a lower cost.
However, digital marketing also presents some challenges, such as the need for a constantly evolving skill set and the need to stay up-to-date with changes in technology and digital platforms. Nonetheless, it has become an essential part of any modern business's marketing strategy, as more and more people spend their time online and use digital devices to make purchasing decisions.

When Remembering Really Matters: The Power of Serious Games for Employee Lear...Human Capital Media
Remembering is hard. Forgetting is easy. Companies must train employees on policies, procedures, terminology, product knowledge, etc., and employees need to be able to recall this knowledge on the job. Employees have to complete so much training during the year that it is impossible for them to learn and retain everything that is asked of them. Training functions can unwittingly create a tsunami of content that results in almost zero retention.
This session shares research on remembering — and forgetting — and identifies techniques that foster long-term retention. It then connects these techniques to games and explains how games can help form long-term memories and business results. Sharon Boller and Steven Boller will share recent research on games and case studies that demonstrate how games can be used for learning.
In this session, you will:
Identify the potential costs of not remembering.
Gain an understanding of research-based learning principles such as spaced repetition, feedback loops and more.
Identify the connection between research-based learning methods, serious games and tangible business outcomes.
Using Open Badges to provide micro-credentials is a great way to track upskilling and career pathing for learners within organizations. This session will cover how micro-credentialing supports ongoing professional development and personalized learning pathways as it pertains to accomplishments and skills.
By attending this session, you will:
-Explore the open badge framework and how it can track progress to act as a workplace currency
-Analyze why most organizations that try badging don't succeed in their goals
-Learn how badges help solve the skills gap and how clients are using them to transform their learning culture.
-Discover strategies for badging effectively at your organization.
Professional Skills to a Successful CareerEdward Erasmus
Professional skills are skills that graduates need to posses in order to be successful in their professional practice. These skills range from highly specific ones related to the graduate's field(s) to more general, transferable ones such as communications and ethical practices.
When graduates apply for a job, most employers want to know what professional skills they have already, and how willing they are to learn industry and worksite specific skills. Employers normally want not just a list of skills (that graduates can easily get from a book or the internet), but they require graduates to identify their key professional skills and to provide evidence by citing examples of how they have used these skills already in relevant contexts such as at university or workplaces.
The slideshow discusses the 7 most wanted professional skills in today’s competitive professional environment.
The slideshow was presented at the Career Expo 2010 (Dec. 1, 2010) organized by the 4th grade students of the Faculty of Accounting & Finance of the University of Aruba.

This document provides tips for copywriting that appeals to emotions and addresses criticisms or concerns. It discusses researching the market to understand pains and desires, then writing content that appeals to emotions like fear, love, and happiness. The copy should address any negative thoughts by presenting a step-by-step training and responding to concerns about scams or support. It should attract an audience willing to work hard rather than seeking a get-rich-quick scheme. The hook headline needs to create curiosity while the conclusion reliably delivers the product.

Some common challenges include public speaking fears, lack of audience engagement, technical issues, and nervous behaviors like shaky voices. The document provides tips for effective presentations, such as thorough preparation, practicing delivery, using storytelling techniques, and addressing challenges with confidence and knowledge of the topic.

Audience expectations are shifting all the time and attention spans are contracting. Hold the attention of your audience with your body language and a secret structure we like to call SABBA. How does it work? Check out these slides to find out more.
Presenting involves challenges like fear, lack of confidence, technical issues, and an unengaged audience. Some challenges for presenters are nervousness, poor body language, an unfamiliar setup, and not knowing how to handle all questions. To overcome these challenges, presenters should practice their presentation extensively, focus on engaging their audience with stories and examples, arrive early to test equipment, and learn to control their nerves. Being well prepared, maintaining a relaxed demeanor, and addressing questions confidently can help presenters present effectively.
A Product Manager often needs to persuade and motivate others without having any real authority. The only tool the product manager has is language, the spoken and written word. So how do you get people to understand why a particular course of action is warranted? And how do you persuade them to act and move forward on that knowledge without being able to wield any power or authority over them? You can’t just talk louder, or keep repeating your point or resort to nagging. You have to use particular language that is more effective. They key is in using carefully chosen language that addresses their Motivation Type.
Join our AIPMM Anthropologist, Paula Gray as she uncovers the key to more effective persuasion by understanding your audience’s Motivation Type. She will explain how to determine an individual’s motivation type and then how to craft your language to address the core issues of each type.
Topics covered will include:
What are Motivation Types and how people acquire them
How to determine an individual’s Motivation Type
How to speak to each Motivation Type to engage and persuade them
How to speak to a group that is a mix of Motivation Types

This document is a presentation on managing presentation nerves and essential presentation skills. It discusses how even experienced entertainers can feel stage fright, and that public speaking is a learned skill requiring practice. It emphasizes rehearsing multiple times, including videotaping oneself, and listening to audio recordings to improve delivery. The three main presentation essentials covered are using visual aids instead of text-heavy slides, rehearsing extensively, and focusing on three key messages as most audiences will only remember three things.
1. The document discusses different types of motivation and what drives success, noting that successful people are motivated by their goals and have a positive mental attitude.
2. It emphasizes the importance of setting written, specific goals in order to stay focused on what you want to achieve and how to achieve it. Having clear goals helps maximize time and effort.
3. Success is defined as the progressive achievement of worthwhile personal goals, and having alignment between personal and professional goals and skills can better enable success.

Suzanne Lagerweij - Influence Without Power - Why Empathy is Your Best Friend...Suzanne Lagerweij
This is a workshop about communication and collaboration. We will experience how we can analyze the reasons for resistance to change (exercise 1) and practice how to improve our conversation style and be more in control and effective in the way we communicate (exercise 2).
This session will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
Abstract:
Let’s talk about powerful conversations! We all know how to lead a constructive conversation, right? Then why is it so difficult to have those conversations with people at work, especially those in powerful positions that show resistance to change?
Learning to control and direct conversations takes understanding and practice.
We can combine our innate empathy with our analytical skills to gain a deeper understanding of complex situations at work. Join this session to learn how to prepare for difficult conversations and how to improve our agile conversations in order to be more influential without power. We will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
In the session you will experience how preparing and reflecting on your conversation can help you be more influential at work. You will learn how to communicate more effectively with the people needed to achieve positive change. You will leave with a self-revised version of a difficult conversation and a practical model to use when you get back to work.
Come learn more on how to become a real influencer!

Carrer goals.pptx and their importance in real lifeartemacademy2
Career goals serve as a roadmap for individuals, guiding them toward achieving long-term professional aspirations and personal fulfillment. Establishing clear career goals enables professionals to focus their efforts on developing specific skills, gaining relevant experience, and making strategic decisions that align with their desired career trajectory. By setting both short-term and long-term objectives, individuals can systematically track their progress, make necessary adjustments, and stay motivated. Short-term goals often include acquiring new qualifications, mastering particular competencies, or securing a specific role, while long-term goals might encompass reaching executive positions, becoming industry experts, or launching entrepreneurial ventures.
Moreover, having well-defined career goals fosters a sense of purpose and direction, enhancing job satisfaction and overall productivity. It encourages continuous learning and adaptation, as professionals remain attuned to industry trends and evolving job market demands. Career goals also facilitate better time management and resource allocation, as individuals prioritize tasks and opportunities that advance their professional growth. In addition, articulating career goals can aid in networking and mentorship, as it allows individuals to communicate their aspirations clearly to potential mentors, colleagues, and employers, thereby opening doors to valuable guidance and support. Ultimately, career goals are integral to personal and professional development, driving individuals toward sustained success and fulfillment in their chosen fields.
