the ability to judge, make a decision, or form an opinion objectively, authoritatively, and wisely, especially in matters affecting action; good sense; discretion. The forming of an opinion, estimate, notion, or conclusion, as from circumstances presented to the mind.
Ben, an overweight 7th grader, struggled to keep up during gym class. He would stand on the side with his awkward classmate, and they bonded over trying to avoid physical activity. When Ben grew older, he was accepted to a few good colleges, but he kept dropping out of school. He hung out with his old friend from junior high, who was unsuccessfully attempting to get into medical school. The two of them took a look at themselves- college dropouts from a small town on Long Island- and decided that the one thing they excelled at was eating. Especially eating ice cream. Ben Cohen and his friend Jerry Greenfield sent $5 to Penn State University for a correspondence course on ice cream making. They pooled their savings and opened a small ice cream store, and named it Ben and Jerry's.

Female Psychopaths Seek to Destroy and Command All Attention
Many female psychopaths seek to destroy others however they can.
May undermine your self-esteem using innuendo, or bully you
Turn friends and family against you by poisoning your reputation behind you
There is no end to what she might do to shatter your life.
Many female psychopaths are pathological liars who are more cunning and manipulative
The female psychopath desires to be the center of attention and demands center stage.
Her style of speech manages to play the victim.

Her personality turns on and off like a neon sign.

Why you are so Sensitive & How to Develop Your Intuitive SkillsHeidi Sawyer
If you see things out of the corner of your eye, know others feelings before they’ve told you, have a fascination with past lives, angels, or a strong pull towards the healing and intuitive arts, you are a sensitive.
You’ve been described through your life as ‘too sensitive.’ You feel the feelings of other people to the point of physical pain. You avoid confrontation; have the ability to see the truth and a fascination for your sense of life purpose. Heidi will show you what it means to be an Intuitive Sensitive and how to use the best of your abilities.
Eric Berne defined a stroke as the “fundamental unit of social action”. A stroke is a unit of recognition, when one person recognizes another person. A stroke Can be Physical, Verbal or Non-verbal; Could be A hand shake, A compliment or A nod of the head;Could also be “Hello”, “Go away!” or A dismissive wave of the hand. (All of these acknowledge that the other person exists.)
Berne defined certain socially dysfunctional behavioural patterns as "games." According to Berne, Games are “sets of ulterior transactions, repetitive in nature, with a well-defined psychological payoff.” These repetitive, devious transactions are principally intended to obtain strokes, but instead they reinforce negative feelings and self-concepts, and mask the direct expression of thoughts and emotions.
In his book Games People Play, which achieved wide popular success in the early 1960s, Berne describes a series of games and gave them instantly recognizable names as:
"Why Don't You, Yes But"
"Now I've Got You, You SOB"
"I'm Only Trying To Help You".

Socially aversive people certainly exist, but what about everyday saints, person who, just by their being, shines their light in every direction.
The person who isn’t constantly strategic about their giving, but

Forgiveness,
Trust, honesty,
Caring,
Acceptance,
Seeing the best in people, and
Getting intrinsic enjoyment from making connections with others instead of using people as a means to an end.

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Slide 1: Title: Exploring the Mindfulness: Understanding Its Benefits
Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.
Slide 3: Benefits of Mindfulness for Mental Well-being
Practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress and anxiety levels, improving overall quality of life.
Mindfulness increases awareness of our emotions and teaches us to manage them better, leading to improved mood.
Regular mindfulness practice can improve our ability to concentrate and focus our attention on the present moment.
Slide 4: Benefits of Mindfulness for Physical Health
Research has shown that practicing mindfulness can contribute to lowering blood pressure, which is beneficial for heart health.
Regular meditation and mindfulness practice can strengthen the immune system, aiding the body in fighting infections.
Mindfulness may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and obesity by reducing stress and improving overall lifestyle habits.
Slide 5: Impact of Mindfulness on Relationships
Mindfulness can help us better understand others and improve communication, leading to healthier relationships.
By focusing on the present moment and being fully attentive, mindfulness helps build stronger and more authentic connections with others.
Mindfulness teaches us how to be present for others in difficult times, leading to increased compassion and understanding.
Slide 6: Mindfulness Techniques and Practices
Focusing on the breath and mindful breathing can be a simple way to enter a state of mindfulness.
Body scan meditation involves focusing on different parts of the body, paying attention to any sensations and feelings.

• Accelerators at both A and B are:
✦ Making mistakes that are
interpreted as socially ‘fatal;’
this moves one farther away
from the imago dei, in that self-
talk becomes self-
condemnation
✦ External criticism at B can result
in depression, since it is
interpreted as denying the

mania when the critic’s
authority is dubious. (‘I am
smarter than she is; I will move
forward with this decision no

catapult one into a manic or
depressive state.

tried to get my way by doing the
smartest way... I figure that if I
stay calm, they’ll let me go and
I’ll get my way.’
✦ TAKE-AWAY: At this point,
reason does not apply. A manic
person will not listen to an
argument about ‘the imago dei.’
Rather, physical restraint and
reminding the person to do what
it takes to get their way--
namely, be calm--will result in
giving them the freedom to do
what they want.

✦ TAKE-AWAY: Different from the

truth that God’s opinion of and

someone else’s, is what truly
matters. This self-talk helped
me exit a 2-week depression in
