This document outlines the agenda for a meeting that will discuss information literacy. It will cover how to evaluate the credibility of sources, both in academic and real world contexts. Specific topics will include how to identify credible information, structures that control information, clues within sources, cross-referencing multiple sources, and challenges determining credibility online. The academic world uses credentials, affiliations, prestige and peer review to judge credibility. A library orientation will also be provided.
