Skypull is developing technology to harvest energy from altitude winds using tethered flying devices. Their technology can generate power at a 95% higher rate and 60% lower cost than other renewable sources while reducing CO2 emissions by 99%. Skypull aims to deploy systems ranging from 100 kW to 1 MW and beyond to target both off-grid and on-grid markets. They are seeking €2.6 million in funding to complete proof-of-market testing and €7.5 million for full-scale demonstration and industrialization of their 600 kW system.
