The OPTEMUS project, part of Horizon 2020, aims to optimize energy management in electric vehicles (EVs) to enhance efficiency under extreme weather conditions. Key targets include increasing the real driving range by at least 38% and reducing energy consumption for passenger comfort by 60%. The project reported promising preliminary results and is focused on facilitating the rapid introduction of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles into the market.
