ADVANCEMENT IN THE MOBILE APP REVIEW SYSTEM TO ENHANCE QUALITY OF MOBILE APPL...csandit
The market for mobile applications has enormously increased in the past five years. According
to the App Annie reports, the gross annual revenue is projected to exceed $189 billion by 2020.
Developing and enhancing mobile applications will vastly facilitate in increasing the market for
mobile applications. User reviews of mobile apps play a vital role in enhancing the quality of currently existing mobile applications, and, in the development of new high quality mobile applications. Typically, user reviews are either in the form of several lines of text or numerical
rating or both. Both forms of rating are meant to aid the prospective users in app installation/purchasing. User reviews also assist the developers in identifying technical glitches (if any) and in providing further advanced updates to the mobile app. The objective of this paper is twofold. Firstly, this paper identifies the currently existing app review systems and analyzes each of these app review systems in detail. Secondly, based on the analysis, we have introduced a four-step app review system that will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of mobile applications. In addition, we have presented the results of a survey (sample size = 100) that was administered to comprehend the effectiveness of the proposed app review system.
In this presentation, I tried to unleash every potential that mobile environment have. There are some "prediction" about future in mobile environment & apps too.

3. Who we are
We provide our customers with a product and service that allows them to
reclaim the lost or stolen valuables in our lives.
Skylink does this by using UAV’s or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles,
GPS technology, and high resolution image & video capture.
4. User overview
The Skylink target audience are men and women ranging in age from 18 to
49 years old. They have either graduated or have had some college
education and have an income ranging from less than 10K to 79K annually.
These are people who are interested in using technology in order to find
their valuable items that have become lost or stolen.
7. User research
Our primary research methods included in-person survey and interviews.
The survey was posted and shared across the teams collective social media
channels and email contact lists.
Our interviews were with potential users of the SkyLink app. These users
were individuals in the community, police departments, small business
owners and large enterprise businesses.
10. Research analysis
The analysis of research completed with potential Skylink app users
provides valuable insights about how we can make a better app for our
different users.
The following 3 pages are data visualizations that illustrate the information
gathered from the research analysis.
15. User personas
The next three pages provide Skylink user personas. These personas have
been developed based on the user research completed. These personas
should be used better understand what is important to the different Skylink
app users and how to add value to their customer experience.
21. User & action lists
The following user action lists provide insights into the experience a user
might have when using the app. This is achieved by listing the app screens
and the actions taken by the user to complete a specific goal.
23. App screen lists
The following lists are provided to show the app screens that a specific user
would potentially encounter while using the Skylink app.
Not all screens would be seen by every user. For instance, new and current
users would not have access to the same app screens that an administrator
or customer support user would be able to access.
27. User stories
The following 5 pages are Skylink user flow examples. They represent just a
few paths that a Skylink app user would take in order to accomplish specific
tasks. These tasks are based on the user needs lists.
