Its only fair to reach consensus on definition of life before we look into skills for life.
What is Life?
Dictionary: The condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter,
including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change
preceding death.
Other definition: Life is interaction between one’s mind, body, society and environment
one lives in. Eventual aim is happiness, inherent and consciously or sub-consciously
driven.
So then what is happiness?
Dictionary: Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment or Satisfied with the quality or
standard of
Other Definition: The realization or fulfilment of one’s talents and potentialities,
especially considered as a drive or need present.
This happens to be definition of Self-Actualization.

Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.
Write down purpose of your life.
Write down where do you see yourself in 20 years time.
Write down where do you see yourself in 10 years time.
Write down where do you see yourself in 5 years time.
Write down where do you see yourself in 1 years time.
Things to remember while doing this exercise:
Give yourself time, it can’t be done in one evening or one week
Make sure your thoughts are bottom up aligned (incrementally adding up)
Maintain healthy balance as human being would expect
Whole process is done with bottom-line aim of achieving happiness & enjoying the
journey while remaining true to ultimate destination/goals.
If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable.

A value system is the combined morals, ethics, standards, preferences, belief
systems and world views that define an individual, group or culture.
Vision: The ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or
