1. I was keen to make some banners to
try out the more creative side of the
coursework.
I started using Photoshop to cut out
our original logo.
I then put it on a gradient, in
retrospect I would have made the
gradient a bit brighter, with a less
dim purple, in order to make the logo
really pop and demand attention.
This is my original attempt at
making a banner for our artists
new single ‘Good To Love’. I
tried to keep in the mind set of
simplicity and the ‘less is more’
ideals we have been exploring.
I managed to keep our
continuity with the same font
used in all our posters,
presentations etc.
In retrospect, the gradient is too
grey and the space too empty,
but this can be refined later.
This was my first
attempt for a
banner to
advertise our
artists
merchandise. I
used a brighter
gradient this run
through, but the
words run into
the gradient in
the top right. I will
resolved this
when I refine
these or try
again. I think I
managed to
capture the
ideals of
simplicity better
in this banner,
and even
managed to
include my own
take on the logo
