Half Term One Focus: Sixth Form and Upper Band
Key Idea: Using exemplar scripts from the previous exam year.
Ways you can do this in your classroom
• Focus on what a student has done to secure full marks in an
exam question by annotating key areas of exam skills
(Knowledge, application, analysis and evaluation) and then
comparing this answer to someone that may have only got
50% of the marks.
• Show students an exam question and get them to mark it
using the mark scheme. How many of them got the mark
allocation right?
• Use the examples to complete model writing in lessons.
