In both the Letter from a Birmingham Jail by Martin Luthor King Jr. and Why are

relations are a main topic. While King writes about the effects and injustices of
segregation, Beverly writes about the causes of self segregation. These two works
have a few things in common that is discussed, such as the inferiority complexthat

Symbols In The Minister s Black Veil
1.In the short story, The Minister s Black Veil by Nathaniel Hawthorne, the
townspeople have a few ideas as to what Hooper s veil represents or hides. Some of
the villagers believe that the minister, Mr. Hooper has committed a shameful sin.
The idea of the town s people somewhat surfaces while Elizabeth is speaking to the
minister himself and says, for the sake of your holy office, do away this scandal

My Views On My Life
I am a female, I am upper middle class, these two aspects have shaped my

Do you think some people inherit everything wished for? Richard Cory is a poem
written by Edwin Arlington Robinson. The poem published in 1897, occurring near a
severe economic depression known as the Panic of 1893, and uses couplets, which
have pairs of verses rhyme with each other to create the units. The author Edwin
Arlington Robinsonbegan publishing in 1891 in local newspapers and magazines,
then later on published the book The Torrent and The Night Before. His second book,
The Children of the Night, contains Richard Coryand it became popular after Ted
Roosevelt reviewed it. In the poem, a well known man named Richard Cory, who,
