The Sierra Club of Hawaii says its appeal to Hawaii residents to
withdraw funds and close their accounts with First Hawaiian
Bank in an act of solidarity with Dakota Access Pipeline protesters
has resulted in nearly $1.37 million being divested from Hawaii’s
largest bank, whose majority shareholder, BNP Paribas, is backing
the pipeline project.
Friendly persuasion, hit ‘em in the pocket book, business and organizations understand only
and solely when their bottom lines are divested $$$$$$$$
