Because when it comes to your career and professional life, LinkedIn is the most valued space!
- When you need to find an internship or a job what you do? You will create resumes. And send to the company you like to apply. That is all good. But how will the 100s of other companies who desperately search you for your matching skills find you? As an example lets say you are very good at development using Python. But the company you are applying may not need of much expertise in Python. But there may be 10s of companies who are desperately looking for Expertise in Python which you don’t know. Therefore we are in need of a Bridge which match you and your potential employers. Also when you apply for a job, you need to give the best first impression in all the aspects.
- Leading online professional directory which is used by the professionals for networking, connecting, and job searching. Do you know what most professional recruiters do when they have to interview someone? They just search the name on Google. So if you can, just search your name on Google and see what pops up in the first page? Your FB page? Twitter? The cool thing with LinkedIn is it has very high Google Visibility. More than Twitter or Facebook. So if you have a sound profile on LinkedIn, it will be the top result pops when someone search your name on Google. - And the catch is, if your LinkedIn profile is incomplete, same profile will give the negative impression.
