rating inventory of statements describing an individual s negotiation style and attitude towards

The purpose of this experiment was to come up with the optimal temperature of the Fungal
Amylase, Aspergillus oryzae, and the Bacterial Amylase, Bacillus liceniformis, as well as to
identify if different temperatures would indeed affect the enzyme amylase by either slowing down
the process or denaturing the enzyme. Enzymes are complex proteins, they can be thought of as a
substance fabricated by a living organism that behaves as a stimulus, otherwise known as a
catalyst, to cause a specific biochemical reaction. This experiment was performed by keeping the
amylase mixed with starch at different temperatures, either in the heated water or in the ice bath.
The temperatures varied at either 0, 25, 55, or 85 degrees Celsius. After a certain amount of time
we would then move the test tubes containing the amylases and position them on a plate where
iodine was then added to the starch amylase solution. We would do the same thing at different time
intervals to see exactly how the enzyme catalyzed the starch. The hypothesis of this experiment was
thought to be that the higher the temperature the slower the enzyme would then hydrolyze the

our day to day lives. It is important to understand that our music today, has been tremendously

Frankenstein is a classic written by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley that has captured readers

Sex Roles and the Ideal Society states that in an assimilationist ideal society, a person s sex

s sex all together to make the world equal? A different opinion from Phyllis Schlafly in The Power
of the Positive Womanstates that sex should be a relevant factor in family roles and social roles.ВІ

their new subjects. The Aztec empire did not have an elaborate bureaucracy or administration. The
Mexica and their allies just conquered their subjects and assessed tribute.
For the Mexica society has the most information than any other people of the pre Columbian
Americas. Women played almost no role in political affairs. Priests received a special education
in calendrical and ritual lore. On a few occasions, priests even became supreme rulers of the
Aztec Empire. Skilled artisans enjoyed prestige in Mexica society. In Mexica Religion there are
two principal gods, Tezcatlipoca, the Smoking Mirror, and Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent .
Tezcatlipoca was a powerful figure known to be the giver and taker of life and the patron deity of
warriors. Quetzalcoatl had a reputation for supporting agriculture, art, and craft. For sacrifice there
was ritual bloodletting. Mexica enthusiasm for sacrifice followed their devotion to the god
Huitzilopochtli. The Pueblo and Navajo peoples tapped river waters to irrigate crops of maize. By
about 700 C.E. the Pueblo and Navajo began to construct permanent stone and adobe buildings. The
most impressive structures of the woodlands were enormous earthen mounds. Woodlands peoples
used those mounds sometimes as stages for ceremonies and rituals. The largest surviving structure
is a mound at Cahokia.
