What is shop floor?
Shop floor is one of the heart in Management.
A shop floor is the area of a factory, machine shop, etc.
where people work on machines or the space in a retail establishment where
goods are sold to consumers.
Do’s in Shop floor
Do Learning Your workplace
Do Be Aware of Your Surroundings
Do take Regular Breaks
Do Wear Protective Equipment
Do Ask for Help
Cotton waste / scrap paper lying on the shop floor should be thrown in
the dustbin.
Switch off the machine after completion of the work.
Switch off the lights and fans after completion of the work.
Turn of water pipe after uses.
Do Learning Your Workplace
Why need for Workplace learning?
Logistics employees must work material handling so location is important.
Also know any emergency where to assembled.
No matter how many safety guidelines and procedures set, employees not get in
awareness they all wasted.
Do Be Aware of Your Surroundings
