Dobie High School received a Texas Acceptable rating for its school technology and readiness based on scores across four domains: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration and Infrastructure for Technology. While Dobie saw declines in all areas for 2008-2009 compared to previous years, its scores remained the same or increased since 2006. To improve scores, Dobie's 2009-2010 goals focused on increasing teacher preparation through lunch meetings, district staff development, one-on-one technology training, and having teachers set personal technology goals to share by the next staff meeting.
