The Texas STaR Chart is a tool divided into four categories that helps educators assess progress toward technology goals. It evaluates Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration, and Infrastructure. For the Levi Fry Intermediate campus, recommendations are provided to improve patterns of classroom technology use, professional development opportunities, leadership vision and support, and infrastructure upgrades currently underway through bond funding. The document concludes that the STaR Chart assists schools in preparing today's students with 21st century skills and tools.

Included in these upgrades are:Replace district-wide data switches, phone system using Voice-over IP technology, interior data cables on all campuses, and fiber connecting all campuses to provide increased bandwidth on a 10Gig backbone Implement a district-wide wireless network and video on demand into classroomsImprove data storage for all staff and students and multi-media access in classrooms district-wide Provide each campus with at least mobile laptop labs for classroom checkout
