What can we do to improve . . .Infrastructure for Technology?Texas City ISD is in the process of upgrading and implementing many new technologies as a result of bonds passed by the Texas City community.  Included in these upgrades are:Replace district-wide data switches, phone system using Voice-over IP technology, interior data cables on all campuses, and fiber connecting all campuses to provide increased bandwidth on a 10Gig backbone Implement a district-wide wireless network and video on demand into classroomsImprove data storage for all staff and students and multi-media access in classrooms district-wide Provide each campus with at least mobile laptop labs for classroom checkout
