The following procedure describes Radio Network Service remote
real-time events/alarms monitoring with the use of OSS-RC Alarm

22. Commissioning RBS ( Count’)
Langkah Langkah Commissioning RBS:
1. Format flash memory CBU
2. Create username dan password
3. Create ip default (ip: 169.254.1.1, netmask: 255.255.0.0)
4. Download software Basic Package (drive c dan d) ke flash memory CBU dengan
menggunakan tools WSFTP, BisonFTP, atau DiamondFTP
5. Refresh CBU, CBU akan mencreate drive j, sehingga akan terdapat 3 drive yaitu
c2, d, dan j
6. Pastikan ip default aktif, Klik icon Internet Explorer atau Modzilla
7. Ketik http://169.254.1.1/em/index_stubbed.html ==> loading EMAS (Ericsson
Element Manager)
8. Pastikan all module RBS tercreate dan kondisi Enable, bila ada yang masih disable
lakukan langkah delete-create module
9. Download configurasi OAM
10. Pastikan ip telah berubah sesuai dengan ip RBS sebelumnya
11. Setting update time
12. Ketik http://10.184.xxx.xx/em/index_stubbed.html ==> loading EMAS (Ericsson
Element Manager)
13. Create CV_OAM
14. Download configurasi SE, Create CV_SE
15. Download configurasi Iublink, Create CV_Iublink

Cara Cepat untuk Configurasi OAM, Configurasi SE dengan
menggunakan scrip_OAM dan scrip_SE:
• Script_OAM
Scripts ini berisikan konfigurasi IP untuk RBS serta Routing table
RBS yang akan digunakan untuk OAM
(untuk meng-edit script ini harus berdasarkan file ATND)
• Script_SE
Script ini berisikan konfigurasi semua equipment RBS, mulai dari
frequency yang digunakan, Panjang feeder, Attenuator dll
(untuk meng-edit script ini harus berdasarkan file CDR)
24. Replace Module
Untuk menganti modul yang bermasalah dapat dilakukan dengan langkah
berikut ini:
• Pada EM RBS, pilih Maintenance Bar, Test dan Board
• Lock Modul yang akan di ganti
• Tukarkan modul yang bermasalah dengan modul yang baru
• Test modul yang telah diganti, jika hasilnya bagus jangan lupa untuk di Unlock kembali
25. How to backup all Node in RAN 3G
Untuk full backup pada prinsipnya download file dari Node ke local
storage. Sedangkan metodenya bisa kita lakukan dengan
menggunakan fasilitas aplikasi FTP. Untuk syaratnya download
dengan format Binary
Langkah langkah untuk Full backup:
1. Pastikan local storage (pc/laptop) connect ke jaringan yg bisa mengakses ke Node yg
akan diambil fullbackup-nya.
2. Buka aplikasi FTP.
3. Set FTP connection details:
– Session name
– Host name/destination address (ip)
– username: (rnc/rxi/rbs)
– password: (password node)
dapat dilihat seperti contoh dibawah ini : user : rxi, password: rxpbr01

5. copy/download drive /c dan /d ke local storage (pc/laptop)
27. Troubleshooting RBS
Untuk troubleshooting replace hardware CBU dapat dilakukan
dengan beberapa cara :
Tidak mengganti flash card CBU ( jika flash card bekerja
normal)
Melakukan pengantian modul CBU.
Apabila dilakukan pergantian modul CBU, dapat di
commissioning dengan beberapa cara:
Commissioning secara normal
Commisioning dengan cara upload file full backup untuk
node tersebut
28. lazy-Commissioning
Hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan untuk upload fullback up:
1. Type rack
2. IMA Group
3. Jumlah E1
Langkah Langkah Commissioning dengan cara upload Fullbackup:
• Format flash card CBU
• Setting IP Address dan Password
Set the IP address to the default IP address i.e. 169.254.1.1
subnet 255.255.0.0.
• Loading file full backup.
The software (c2 and d) is downloaded from the thin client to the
RBS over the Ethernet link, using WS_FTP or FTP
29. lazy-Commissioning (Count’)
• Pastikan semua file sudah tersimpan di CBU
• Masuk EM dengan menggunakan IP RBS yang di full backup
• Parameter yang harus dirubah di EM sebagai berikut:
– Setting IP Address sesuai dengan IP existing
– Setting IPoverATM sesuai dengan IPoverATM existing
– Lock semua AAL2Path yang ada
– Setting ulang A2ea.
– Setting AAL2Path
– Setting ulang RBS Local Cell
– Unlock semua AAL2Path yang ada
– Pastikan semua modul sudah bekerja normal
– Create new CV
– Warm Reload dengan CV terbaru.
30. RBS Hardware Upgrade Procedure
The following procedure describes the Random Access and
Receiver (RAX) board RAX-B and Transmitter (TX) board hardware
upgrade.
The procedure for adding an RAX or TX board consists of the
following:
• Auto-create detected object is checked
• Installing a Board
• Adding a Board to the Configuration
When a new board is installed in the subrack it will be automatically
configured. The board must be unlocked when the configuration is
finished

1. Auto – create enable
– Set up a thin client - to - RBS Ethernet connection.
– Start the RBS Element Manager (RBS EM)
– Select Network Element Menu – Setting, ensure Auto-create detected object
is checked

2. Installing Board
To install a board, do the following:
• In the RBS EM, select the Equipment view to the left
• Select the applicable subrack and expand it by clicking its plus sign
• Check the slot number in the digital subrack against the work order and
Hardware Configuration Data.
• Replace the relevant installed unit (dummy board) with the new RAX board,
or TX board.
