5.2.3 Prepare integration script
To generate the integration scripts is used the Internal tool (Ericsson – PCI tool). The
scripts will be provided by GSC Team, generated via PCI Tools. Download the scripts
from PCI server. The scripts must be contained of below files.

5.3 Commissioning (onsite)

1. Make sure the power supply is available, tested, and approved for supplying the RBS with

5.4.3 License Key File Installation
5.4.3.1 Install LKF File Using OSS-RC SHM GUI
Just for this phase 1 procedure, this is a post-integration activity. As the integration unlock
only is valid for a limit number of days, a proper set of licenses, License Key File (LKF)
need to be ordered and installed for the node. This step will also confirm that proper
license considerations made were correct. The maintained performance and no resource
alarms should confirm the success of this step.
Prerequisite for the following steps is that the ordered LKF(s) has been received and has
been stored by the user at defined directory location on OSS-RC user account file system.
Note that the stored license file is a zip file that contain at least one License Data File
(LDF) and one LKF to be imported. For more details, see reference Error: Reference
source not found.
1. Import License Key File
Open OSS Explorer (Launch -> Application -> Ericsson -> ),
Start SHM GUI (Tools -> Hardware and Software Inventory –> Software
Hardware Management -> ).
Select the License tab on top of SHM GUI.
Click on the Import button at right of the License tab view.
In the “Import new License Key File” dialog box, click Browse. Select the
LKF zip file from chosen location.
Enter a short description and click Import. The new license key files will be
listed under License tab view when imported to OSS-RC server SMRS.

Note that when the fingerprint present in LKF zip file matches with the
fingerprint of any added node in the OSS-RC server, then ME name will
be updated under Managed Element column in License tab GUI
accordingly. Otherwise empty value will be displayed under that column
with imported license key file details

2. Install Imported License Key File on the Node
Select the License tab on top of SHM GUI, if not already selected.
Select the LKF row under License tab view with node name present on
”Managed Element” column or search for the node in left side panel and
select the node name in left side panel result list.
Click on the Install button at right of the License tab view. Note that Install
button is enabled when node name for imported LKF is selected.
In the “Confirmation” dialog box, click Yes to proceed if status is as
expected (no errors shown).
In the next “Scheduler” dialog box, click “Start Immediately” and “Start
Install”. This schedules a “Install License” job.
Select the Job tab on top of SHM GUI to check the progress of the job.
Once the install is successful on the node SHM will update the “Current
License” column as TRUE under License tab view.
Check status on the node after installed LKF file
Launch EMCLI for selected node from OSS Common Explorer or start AMOS from
opened OSS terminal window. Perform the following first EMCLI/AMOS commands.
> lt all
> alt
At this stage there should not be any licensing related alarms.
Verify the RAN traffic status by the commands according to chapter 5.8.1
