Job description
To expand and enhance grain accumulation across UAE & globallyto develop new business & to create
concrete and continuous savings in total cost.
• Daily interaction with existing suppliers and hunting for new alternative Raw Materials to reduce the
cost.
• Implementing material planning strategies as per the needs of business using various tactics and MRP

• Survey local and international market and provide regular feedback to top management on Grains
Market.
• Survey and constantly keep watch on price frequencies in the market.
• Continuously observe and access the activities of competitor’s position into the markets.
• Maintaining relations with the suppliers.
• Coordination with various internal departments, to imports of goods from the international market.
• Documentation for all the activities related to Import.
• Keep the track of the raw materials status, provisions and procurements.
• Coordination with Finance to arrange the favorable payment terms with the suppliers for the import of
materials i.e. Cash Against Documents, L/C etc.
• Efficient Correspondence and contact with overseas suppliers.
• Keep track of documents that relate to imports and follow up on new orders and payments
• Coordination with import desk, Seaport Authorities, shipping agents for monitoring &clearance of
overseas cargos in time.
• Inventory control through the various methods EOQ, ABC, Local-land International marketing.
• Purchase &Trading of all raw materials & commodities as per GAFTA clauses.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor in Engineering / Science / Business Administration
Minimum Experience:
• 10 years functional experience out of which 3 to 5 years should be in an equivalent Management level.
• Prior experience in grain trading
Functional Knowledge:
• Substantial knowledge in trading
• Project management
• Knowledge of foreign import/export regulations and procedures
• Strong knowledge of the best practices and tools in procurement
