2. WHAT IS SELF AWARENESS?
• Self-Awareness is the ability to tune in to
your feelings, thoughts, and actions.
• Being self-aware also means being able
to recognize how others people see you.
• People who are self-aware recognize
their strengths and their challenges.
3. TWO TYPES OF SELF-AWARENESS
•Public self-awareness is when people are of how
others see them.
•Private self-awareness is when people are aware
of something about themselves that others might
not be like being anxious about reading out loud.
4. HOW TO DEVELOP SELF-AWARENESS
•Recognizing those abilities helps build self-
esteem. It also allows people to use their
strengths to work on challenges.
