This workshop covered how to operationalize an organization to respond to change. Key topics included defining change events, making a business case, assessing readiness, and avoiding pitfalls when adopting a hybrid agile approach. High performing teams are functional, flexible, and repeatable. Leadership must communicate goals and rotate roles. Staff should wear multiple hats and development must invest in automation. Readiness depends on leadership support and collaboration tools. Hybrid approaches risk losing sprint cadence and waterfall testing methods.
The document provides advice on building an effective RFP process. It recommends forming a coalition team to identify goals and scope the project. The RFP should include an assessment of needs, marketplace trends, and objective requirements. An evaluation matrix can be used to thoroughly review proposals against outcomes. It is important to allow sufficient time, communicate clearly, and get buy-in from stakeholders. Flexibility and embracing change are also advised.

Building a next generation data center presents many challenges related to power, cooling, physical layout, security, and safety. Moore's Law dictates that computing power will continue to rapidly increase, driving up power and cooling demands. Existing data centers often operate near or over capacity for room temperature, UPS power, and cable management. The next generation design must have scalable facilities, efficient 220V power distribution, proper cooling of equipment rather than the entire room, and comprehensive documentation to ensure reliability, disaster recovery, and energy efficiency.
A disruptive innovation is a new technology that initially does not meet mainstream customer needs but later improves and disrupts an existing market. Mobile technologies like smartphones have grown rapidly in recent years. At Peirce College, mobile traffic to the website and student portal has increased dramatically from 2009 to 2011. The college is considering developing a mobile app or mobile-optimized website to provide services to prospective, current, and alumni students on their mobile devices. There are various tools and programming approaches for developing cross-platform mobile apps, but each platform also has its own challenges to consider.

This document discusses VoIP implementation at Peirce College. It covers the background of why they needed a new system, issues they considered, criteria for selection, comparisons of traditional PBX vs. VoIP, benefits of VoIP like mobility and integration. Their selection process and current VoIP setup is outlined, including a fully redundant Cisco S8700 PBX, mixed TDM and VoIP phones, unified messaging, and integrated call centers with full reporting.
VoIP security involves threats like denial of service attacks, eavesdropping, and quality of service issues. Best practices include using firewalls with application layer gateways or session border controllers, encrypting media and signaling, prioritizing bandwidth for VoIP, and restricting access to call managers through physical and logical security measures. NIST recommends logically separate networks, endpoint encryption, and avoiding vulnerabilities in softphones and wireless networks without encryption.

It examines various technical aspects of the fraudulent email such as header information, links, and payload in order to understand how the scheme attempted to steal users' personal information. Statistics are also presented on common phishing techniques and the countries most associated with hosting phishing sites. Resources for further information on phishing prevention and response are listed at the end.
This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
