She started her career as a software recruiter in 2012, and developed an interest for business development, talent enablement and innovation which later got her setting up the concept of Software Community Management in ASML, and to Developer Relations today. She holds a bachelor degree in Lifelong Learning and an MBA specialised in Strategic Human Resources Management. She is a world citizen, having grown up in Greece, she studied and kickstarted her career in The Netherlands and can currently be found in Santa Clara, CA.

We recently hosted the much-anticipated Community Skill Builders Workshop during our June online meeting. This event was a culmination of six months of listening to your feedback and crafting solutions to better support your PMI journey. Here’s a look back at what happened and the exciting developments that emerged from our collaborative efforts.
A Gathering of Minds
We were thrilled to see a diverse group of attendees, including local certified PMI trainers and both new and experienced members eager to contribute their perspectives. The workshop was structured into three dynamic discussion sessions, each led by our dedicated membership advocates.

Selecting a soundtrack
- 1. “Enter the Maze" Instruments: Percussion, Horn, Misc. Feel: Intense, Mysterious, Suspenseful A thumping bass note intermingles with metallic noises to create a feeling of tension and terror. Screeching synth noises enter occasionally, and after a shrill screaming lead, the percussion is sparse but nerve-racking. I also like that the basic rhythm is repeated however this more for a high tension scene in a hard-core action film. "Mistake the Getaway" Instruments: Brass, Strings, Kit, Percussion Feel: Action, Driving, Epic, Intense, Suspenseful The chase begins with horn blasts, and the kit plays a solid beat while the bass strings are a pulsing drone below the horn melody. The piece grows more tense and emotional, the strings taking the lead and rise into a flowing intensity. Danger returns in full force as the music crescendos and return for one final push. This is more for a spy film and would make our film a comedy. "Western Streets" Instruments: Snare, Tenor drum, Tympani, Chimes, Gong Feel: Dark, Suspenseful, Unnerving An all percussion tension-sustaining piece... More chaotic than symmetric, but enough repeated themes to keep it cohesive. I like the steady two steps that sound like footsteps however this piece also feels old fashioned because of the chimes and gongs.
- 2. "Crowd Hammer" Instruments: Guitar, Percussion, Diddley Bow, Flute, Oboe Feel: Dark, Eerie, Relaxed Originally written as an establishing shot for a psychological thriller. This has a very earthy/folky feel about it. Little slow, little edgy... I don't know. Take a listen. I mean, I'll keep trying to describe this but, I'm not doing too well here. There's this flute thing... uhh... Slightly creepy movie score? Yet oddly comforting. This is another steady build-up of music however this sounds more medival and does not fit in with our 21st century opening. "The Escalation" Instruments: Percussion, Basses, Strings Feel: Dark, Driving, Action, Intense One really long build. Generally, gets faster, fuller and more exciting. Like "Bolero" but for suspense. I love this it fits in with the theme of our film because it is steady like a heartbeat and increases pace which could suggest that their heartbeats are beating frantically and slowly the titles can appear in time with the music. My personal favourite is “Ready Aim Fire “which is an amped up secret agent or pro wrestler theme with a thick wall of sound and a crazy drummer. This fits in with the theme of our production and the video is down below. All music is royalty-free and sourced from incompetech.
