The Aruba Tourism Authority implemented Seeketing's mobile tracking and analytics solution to evaluate the profitability of two major festivals on the island. Seeketing placed nodes around the island to capture mobile device signals and track visitor behavior and foot traffic across various locations and events. The data showed that the festivals did not generate as many visitors or as much economic impact as projected, allowing ATA to determine which marketing investments were most effective and which events did not justify the costs. ATA concluded they had incorrectly invested in the unprofitable mass festivals and that Seeketing helped provide insights to optimize future tourism investments and improve the visitor experience in Aruba.
