Ramonita Rodriguez's goal is to teach first grade students about how plants grow from seeds. Seeds come in different shapes and sizes, and contain a tiny plant, food, and protective coat. Seeds travel via wind, water, or animals and need soil, water and sunlight to grow. Plants go through stages of germination, sprouting, developing leaves and roots, forming flower buds, and becoming a full-grown plant.
