A new Mac OSX malware disguises itself as a picture app to create a backdoor and uses two Java vulnerabilities. Facebook paid a researcher $12,500 for a bug in their photo report abuse feature that lacked security checks. TrueCaller and WhatsApp also had vulnerabilities and Indian celebrity IT accounts were hacked.
