Structures Design and Design of New Parts
SolidWorks
Designed two revolutionary components for FSAE project:
Anti-roll system & Turbo Packaging system
Using SolidWorks, designed a Space Racecar Frame to
protect driver and package drive component.
Finite Element Analysis
NASTRAN and SolidWorks
Using the designed frame, analyzed all impact load cases
including torsion to ensure safety of user.
Created technical documents to show tests results and
factors of safety across entire space frame.
Gained knowledge of Finite Element Post-Processing
software; ABAQUS FEA and ANSYS through elective.
Project Management
Working with project lead to design a schedule for
release of all new Improved Drive System Components.
Coordinate with all engineers on program to ensure all
release dates are met.
Collaboration with other departments for all interface
controlled parts to ensure collaborative design.
Working to update reports and weekly deliverables for
customers on current design and procurement status.
H O N O R S
Formula Society of Automotive Engineers Team
FSAETeam
Gained knowledge in fields such as materials, structures,
manufacturing, electronics and drive terrain
Teamwork was essential to achieve the quickest and most cost
effective solution for emergent problems
Team work is essential as each student worked 30-40 hours a week
each to design and build a Formula style racecar that is put to the
test in a competition in Brooklyn, Michigan.
The Boeing Company Ridley Park, PA
Design/Analysis Engineer,Drive Systems February 2014 - Present
Teamwork with other engineers to create designs and models for
Improved Drive System Components.
Convert legacy drawings into CATIA V5 3D models to new design
and engineering standards.
Constructed multiple customer deliverables including; Failure analysis,
Lubrication/Cooling Efficiency, and Power Ratings and Efficiency.
Working with the production lines on part conformance and part
defects to achieve resolution.
Collaboration with supplier management and procurement, as well
as suppliers to obtain new design parts to all engineering and Boeing
standards.
Aid in creating documentation for standardized part notes and global
note conformity.
Manufacturing Engineer,Drive Systems December 2011 - February 2014
In conjunction with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of
new designs.
In conjunction with materials management to ensure that all parts
were properly allocated.
Created new planning to install aircraft vibrations monitoring systems
on dynamics components.
Aided as drive system focal for lean processing & software conversion.
Creation of new training guides to help the transition of a new
employee.
Create a procurement process for a non-production program, and
testing parts.
Created new test procedure instructions for new up to date drive
system requirements.
