Script for Haunting Olivia in my AS Media Course.

1. EXT. SHOPPING CENTER - DAY
JUMP CUT TO:
INT. SHOPPING CENTER MAIN ENTRANCE – DAY
Many people walking in and out of the shopping centre.
OLIVIA, English and very girly, listening to One Direction on her
earphones, walking through the shopping centre.
OLIVIA
(Humming One Direction)
(Sound from her earphones)
OLIVIA, continues walking through the shopping centre, going to the
photo print, waiting for the sales counter to bring her pictures
THE SALES COUNTER, French accent, standing on the other side of the
counter.
SALES COUNTER
That will be ten euros please.
OLIVIA
Here you go. (Gives her the money)Have a nice day.
OLIVIA, walks a bit away from the photo print shop. Taking the
pictures out and looking at them one by one, notices that there is a
man dressed all in black on every single picture.

2. OLIVIA
(Breathes heavily)
OLIVIA, starts looking around nervously, starts walking, which turns
into running after a few seconds. Comes into the parking lot.
OLIVIA
(Continues breathing heavily, screams when a bag is put over her
head)
STRAIGHT CUT
FADE TO BLACK
VOICE OVER (PSYCHOLOGIST)
Why don’t you tell me a bit about yourself?
OLIVIA
Ehmm… Well, my name is Olivia, I’m 17 years old, and I got kidnapped
9 months ago.
STRAIGHT CUT
A two shot comes up showing Olivia and a woman sitting across of
her.
PSYCHOLOGIST
Do you remember what happened to you?
OLIVIA
(Whispers) it is not possible to forget it.
PSYCHOLOGIST
Can you walk me through what happened the day you got kidnapped?

3. OLIVIA Clears throat) I was at the shopping centre to get some
photos, and when walking to the parking lot someone put a bag over
my head… (Sniffs)
PSYCHOLGIST
And after that?
OLIVIA, looks nervous and scared
STRAIGHT CUT
Very short scene of two seconds, showing her tied to a chair in a
basement.
STRAIGHT CUT
Scene, back in the psychologist room.
PSYCHOLOGIST
Olivia?
STRAIGHT CUT
Again the short scene of two seconds, her screaming in the basement.
STRAIGHT CUT
Back in the psychologist room.
OLIVIA
(Breathes heavily)
STRAIGHT CUT

4. Again the short scene of two seconds, her screaming in the basement.
STRAIGHT CUT
Back in the psychologist room.
OLIVIA, looks scared, nervous, confused.
OLIVIA
I’m sorry. (She gets up and runs out, slams the door)
Title of the movie comes up as the door closes.

