This script is about 3 friends who take shelter in an abandoned building during a storm. Strange noises are heard and one of the friends disappears. When the other two try to leave, the second friend is pulled into the shadows. The script then flashes forward to an interrogation room where one of the surviving friends is being questioned about what happened that night. He nervously reveals that the shadows in the building had eyes. The script sets up a mystery about what dangerous presence is in the abandoned building and what happened to the missing friends.

Tarran
So what went on here?
(Pan of the forest and old building)
Connor
The same sort of case that has been going on here for years.
Tarran
And what’s that then?
(Flash of room for split second)
Connor
The same story, people who just got lost and went off the track
(There is a pause) And then it happened
Tarran
And then what happened?
(Title appears- Nocturnal Eyes)
EXT FOREST, OUTSIDE OLD BUILDING
Tommy
Take shelter over there
(MORE)
(They all head into the building)
Becky
At least we have some light

(turns on light)
(strange noises are created)
Jarett
Maybe we should go; this place may not be safe.
Becky
No its fine, besides, we have nowhere else to go
(Screaming is heard by Jarett and Becky, they then notice Tommy is
gone)
Jarett
We need to leave now
(They then go to leave but Becky stops suddenly with a scared
expression on their face)What’s wrong?
Becky
(Nervously) H…elp
(Becky is suddenly pulled into the shadows, Friend 2 starts to run)
(Pan back to the room where the People were talking at the start)
Tarran
(Speaking to Jarett) can you tell us what happened that night?
(There is a long pause)
Connor
We can’t help you unless you tell us what happened.
(MORE)
Jarett
(Nervously) The shadows have…..
Tarran
Go on take your time
