It is used to make images look more larger
and clearer.
The light microscope, so called because it
employs visible light to detect small objects, is
probably the most well-known and well-used
research tool in biology.Yet, many students
and teachers are unaware of the full range of
features that are available in light
microscopes.

5. Graduated Cylinders
USES OF GRADUATED CYLINDER
A graduated cylinder, measuring cylinder or
mixing cylinder is a piece of laboratory
equipment used to measure the volume of a
liquid. Graduated cylinders are generally
more accurate and precise than laboratory
flasks and beakers.

6. BEAKER
USES OF A BEAKER
A beaker is a simple container for
stirring, mixing and heating liquids
commonly used in many
laboratories. Beakers are generally
cylindrical in shape, with a flat
bottom. Most also have a small
spout (or "beak") to aid pouring as
shown in the picture.
Beakers are designed to hold a
particular amount of liquid and are
not designed to
accurately measure volumes of
liquids. If an approximate volume is
needed with little accuracy,
a beaker may be used to contain
the liquid.
