Abstract Approximately about 2 million premature deaths per year in developing countries by indoor pollution this is estimated by WHO (2006). Indoor activities (cooking, smoking, incense, mosquitoes coil and others), building characteristics and outdoor climatic conditions have affected indoor air quality environment. Especially young and unemployed people spend about 90% of their times in indoor environment so, air quality index (AQI) is now becomes the essential task for determine the quality of indoor homes. Indoor air quality index concern to pollutant concentration. AQI = 1/3 [SPM/SSPM + SO2/SSO2 + NOx/SNOx ] x 100. More will be the value of AQI more hazardous will be the quality. One of the most important parameter for indoor air quality is particulate matter (PM2.5) and due to long exposure to particulate matters may lead to mortality. Women and children are mainly affected by indoor pollution because they spend more time in homes as compare to others. So, increased the respiratory symptoms, decreased the lung function, increased lung cancer incidence, cardiovascular mortality and accelerated artherosclerosis and vascular inflammation all these ill effects mainly observed in women’s and infants.

The effect of gas flaring on the rate of corrosion of metals within Egi kingdom was investigated
in this work. Surface water which has been exposed to gas flares, was taken from Ogbogu flow station in the Egi
kingdom of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State Nigeria, and was used for this
experiment. The procedure involved soaking one set of the coupons of mild steel and copper in the water taken
from the gas flow station and another set in distilled water and kept for 14 days; after which the metals were
removed and weighed for weight loss as a result of the corrosive effect of both water. This process was repeated
for 56 days and various data obtained was analyzed using empirical correlation. Matlab was used for
computation and simulation. At day 42, corrosion rate for the flare zone water and distilled water were for mild
steel 3.332cm/days and 2.666cm/days and copper 2.562cm/days and 2.277cm/days respectively. The result
obtained showed a higher rate of corrosion for water taken from within the flare zone of Ogbogu Flow station
than distilled water.
Food security in a growing population with limited natural resources is one of
the most important issues of the world. Accumulation of heavy metals in food and
their concentrations increase and reaching to a risk limit can threaten human health.
The purpose of this study, is to study the heavy metals lead and cadmium in
vegetables, cultured on spinach and watercress at 10 Gardens of Ardabil. This study is
cross-sectional and 81 samples in water, soil, and spinach and watercress were
prepared during the months of June, July and August in 2015 and after preparation
according to the standard methods and using atomic absorption spectrophotometer
(Perkin Elmer) for the determination of heavy metals. SPSS software was used for data
analysis. The results showed that the mean level of lead and cadmium in all samples
were less than the EPA standard. Between studied orchards in terms of the amount of
cadmium and lead no statistically significant different was seen. The independent ttest
showed that in terms of cadmium between two species of spinach and watercress
there found a significant difference at the 5% level so that the amount of cadmium in
spinach was more than the watercress. Since the concentration of heavy metals in all
samples at second and third stages in July and August were zero, but in the first step
in June, the amount of heavy metals have been found in some samples showed that
all three samples of first cut had more contamination than second and third cut. And
in this case, the concentration of heavy metal pollution in hibernation at vegetable
gardens Ardabil is possible. The results of spinach cadmium amount in the first cut in
the three garden of viz.,3, 6 and 10 showed that in the garden (3), the amount of
cadmium in water is higher than the standard and is concentrated in spinach and the
gardens of 6 and 10 Cadmium in the soil of the gardens, is slightly higher that is
condensed in spinach thus it can be considered that spinach in terms of cadmium has
bioaccumulation.

Air is rendered impure for respiration of man due to combustion of coal, gas, oil, traffic and manufacturing processes that give off dust, fumes, vapors and gases. The common indoor air pollutants are CO, NOX, SOX and particulate matter (PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0). The present work is on exposure assessment of indoor air pollutants in different households for five different fuels i.e., Kerosene, Biomass, LPG, Cow dung cakes and Coal. Sampling stations were considered in and around Mysore city. Indoor concentration of NO2, SO2, SPM, RSPM and CO for all the fuels were monitored using Handy sampler, personal sampler and Gastec precision gas detection system respectively. Sampling before, during and after cooking was carried out for 2 hours. Higher NO2 indoor concentrations during cooking were found to be 223.45µg/m3 in households where coal is used as fuel, while min concentration of 158.34 µg/m3 was found to be in LPG households using LPG. SO2 was found to be as high as 167.34µg/m3 in coal used households while low concentration was observed in LPG using households. SPM and RSPM were found to be high in biomass households (1438.5.µg/m3 and 1484.89µg/m3). High CO concentration of 30ppm was found during cooking period in coal used households. Pearson’s correlation values for most of the parameters were found to be significant at 0.01 level. It was concluded that indoor air pollutants CO and RSPM are very closely correlated in most fuels, and have the impact on human health
Twenty (20) sample regimes were collected for each sample matrix. The samples were pretreated and digested for the determination of selected heavy metals of interest (As, Cd. Cr, Hg, Ni and Pb. The results reveals that mean concentrations of elements in the water samples decreases in the sequence as follows Hg > Ni > Cr> Pb > As > Cd. This clearly confirmed that Hg has the highest concentration followed by Ni, with Cd being the least. The mean concentrations of elements in the cat fish organs flesh, Gills, Kidney and liver of Barkin-Ladi pond water samples are given in table 4 above. The results confirmed the differences of accumulation of element in different catfish organs. The element concentrations in the cat fish samples decreased in the sequence for the flesh as Ni > Cr >Pb > Hg > As > Cd, for the gills Ni > Hg > Cr > Pb > As > Cd, for kidney Ni > Pb > Hg > Cr > As > Cd, for liver Ni > Cr > Cd > Pb > Hg > As. A two-way ANOVA showed that there was no significant difference between the mean concentrations of elements in the organs of the same fish species, while there is significant difference in the mean concentration between the organs of the different fish species investigated. The correlation analysis was carried out to determine the relationship between the concentrations of element in water sample of the study area. The result above reveals that there is a significant correlation between Cd and Pb, and also there is a significant relationship between Cr and Ni elements. While no significant correlation was observed between the other pairs. These implied that the pairs either have the same source or chemical species. Generally, the ponds were shown to be polluted with heavy metals thus the risk of bioconcentration and bioaccumulation of these heavy metals in the aquatic lives, thus endangering human health directly when consumed or through the food chain.

This paper discusses about the survey on the various magazines, conference papers and journals for understanding the
properties of enamelled copper wires mixed with nano fillers, fundamental methods for synthesis and characterization of carbon
nanotubes. From all these papers, it was noted that the research work carried out in an enamelled copper wires filled with nano fillers
has shown better results. It was also recorded that the research work was carried mostly with single metal catalysts and very little
amount of research work has been carried out on the synthesis of carbon nanotubes using bimetallic catalysts.

All around the world, every country, city and nation have the same recurring problem of waste. The main problem with our way of taking care of the waste we create is that we do not use that same waste and recycle it. The reason for this is that people are not being taught about waste disposal correctly. There are many plastic and metals that we throw away that can be recycled but many places, which are responsible for the recycling, don’t take them because there isn’t enough workers to do so. Futhermore waste like apple cores, banana peels all can be recycled and used as fertilizers or a way to create energy known as methane gas, however not enough recycling places do so. The biggest problem, however is that we live in a wasteful time. The idea that we just throw away our things or used products without being responsible for it is not good. We need to be using more recyclable objects and each person is charged on how much they throw away, rather than a flat rate for everyone. With all this waste earth is dying. Animals are losing their homes turning them into landfills. Man and animals cannot live in a world where the waste is just being dumped away. Problems such as pollution, global warming and other will make it harder and harder for us to live. That problem is that people out there don’t care enough to do something about it as they don’t have the knowledge to what this can lead to. I believe more education about waste should be taught and what the damages of poulltion can do to our earth. We see this today with temperatures rising, causing animals not being able to live as these temperatures destroy their habitats. In Cities like los angeles the air is polluted to a point where you can literally see the smog and such over the city. Something has to be done before its too late.
We have the ability to do something about this. And change our enoviroment before its too late and doesn’t just end up being a waste. In years time if we don’t do something about this the problem will be bigger and bigger to the point where we can no longer live on this earth. If we keep "air" pollution up for another 1000 years, we will be sufficated by carbon monoxide. If we keep "water" pollution up, we will die of thirst. If we keep "land" pollution up, we will be buried by our own waste.

Air Pollution is the release of gases, particles, biological molecules, etc. into the air that are harmful to human health and the environment.”
What is Air Pollution?
Air Pollution refers to the undesirable change occurring in air, causing harmful effects on man and domesticated species. The common air pollutants are Dust, Smoke, Carbon monoxide (CO), Ammonia (NH3), Sulphur dioxide (SO2), Hydrogen sulphide (H2S), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Hydrogen cyanide, Hydrogen fluorides, Chlorines, Phosgenes, Arsines, Aldehydes, Ozone, Ionising, and radiations. CO2 is not a normal air pollutant. There is 0.03% CO2 in the air; its higher percentage is the cause of greenhouse effect.
Types of Air Pollutants
It is two types :
Primary Air Pollutants:
Air is polluted by poisonous gases and undesirable substances. They are released by burning fossil fuels. These substances are called primary air pollutants. The primary air pollutants are the following :
Sulphur dioxide (SO2).
Benzopyrene (hydrocarbon) is released from cigarette smoke.
Ammonia (NH3).
Oxides of nitrogen.
Carbon monoxide (CO).
Lead (Pb).
Secondary Air Pollutants
Secondary air pollutants are poisonous substances formed from primary air pollutants. In bright sunlight, nitrogen, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, and O2 interact to produce more powerful photochemical oxidants like ozone (O3), peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN), aldehydes, sulphuric acid, peroxides, etc. All these constitute photochemical smog, which retard photosynthesis in plants.
Causes of Air Pollution
Agriculture: Hydrocarbons released by plants, pollen grains, insecticides, etc., cause air pollution.
Dust: Dust in the air is increased by dust storms, wind, volcanoes, automobiles, etc.
Industries: Combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum, etc. Industrial smoke is the main source of pollution.
Automobiles: The combustion of petrol and diesel in automobiles releases harmful gases into the air. They also produce dust.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
