3. What is UNIT TEST ?

● A TEST can be given as soon as each unit is completed, such tests are called Unit test.
● These test may last only one lesson period of 40 -45 min.
● After every unit there is a unit test provided for evaluation.
● The unit test may be used as evaluation questions at the end of each lesson.

Ms. Garima a Science teacher taught a topic Fun with Magnet to grade 6
students,during this process she introduced the concept of magnet with the help
of door of refrigerator etc she explained Magnetic ore & discussed various types
of magnet . she performed some activities to differentiate between Magnetic &
Non-Magnetic substances . she explained properties of magnet and its uses.
After ,
Completion of her teaching she planned to assess the understanding of her
learners about magnet,
After that she prepared a question paper comprising of Fill in the blanks, Short
ans. type question, True -false type question and distributed among the
learners of her class without any prior announcement about it .
She asked learner to attempt all these question during her class.
