1. Significant achievements accomplished during the evaluation period just completed that have not
been otherwise noted:
Instructor was observed teaching World Civilizations I (HIST 111). Students presented reports on primary sources reading
assignments while evaluator was in class. Mr. Schulz also lectured on the Byzantine Empire and the crises of the late Middle Ages in
Western Europe. He exhibited firm command of the material as well as engaging the class with humor and making linkages between
the Black Death and modern-day examples of epidemic diseases. Instructor integrated use of classroom technology into his
presentation.
If this is the “first evaluation”, the following mandatory Computer Based Trainings (CBTs) must be completed and passed:
 New Employee Orientation
 Ivy Tech Harassment Prevention
 Privacy and Information Security
 Information Security User Awareness Training
 Safety Awareness
 Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention
