Lo
go
We created this logo because we thought it showed
the idea that it can be fun and a bit of a joke, we liked
the fact that it made it sound like it was a challenging
idea as well as being something fun and interactive.
we felt that it didn’t come across as being a chore and
so was an easy way of creating something
educational.
Wh

What When Where Why
This is aimed
at students
between the
ages of 11
and 18, this a
very key time
in childhood
as you have
to make
some very
big
decisions.
This can be
used both at
home and at
school. It
can be used
for solo
revision as
well as
revising
within a
group
situation.
As teenages
we are very
aware of all
the stress
that we are
faced with, in
regards to
exams, this
will minimise
stress and
help with
work.
It allows
children to
learn key
ways of
revising,lets
them play
games, revise
and follow
advice on
healthy snack
options, it
has a wide
range of ideas
that work for
all children.
Proble
m
Many students have the problem of struggling to
balance school work, family life and social life
together. In a survey targeted at secondary
school and sixth form students, results proved
that 97% of people in every class found it
difficult to cope with balancing everything
together. This is where we
come in!
Question
What would be the most beneficial idea to
help students our age as well as their
parents?
We came up with the idea of a “School
Survival” app.
Mini Elevator
Pitch
We want to create an app designed for young
people who are currently doing exams and
tests (specifically targeted at secondary
school students). The idea would be to give
useful tips for revision as well as nutritional
ideas for food. We want to relieve them of all
the stress they are under and help them do
well in their tests.
Key insight
statement
We want to try and reduce the amount of
stress and pressure place on teenages, we
aim to do this by giving useful tips and ideas
to help reduce stress levels and stop people
panicking about tests and up
and coming exams.
Competitors or Alternative Solutions
(That already exist in the market)
Surviving high school, however it is
more of a virtual world app, that
lets the customer become a
character. Our app is slightly
different as we have more
relatable scenarios, and have
more specific solutions. This app
is 0.99 on the app store.

“I really liked the easy tips that you provided,
they were very simple but effective”

We asked members of our family to test our

“The website links are a very good idea as
they allow for a source of secondary advice,
they let you see what other websites offer as
an effective method of revision.”

We asked members of our family to test our app:
“The nutritional tips and ideas were very good, they
were a healthy alternative to sugary snacks, this is
ideal for young people who need to keep a
balanced diet, and teaches kids household chores.”

Feasibilit
y
This would be a very easy app to make
happen, this is because we are young people
ourselves and so we know how it feels to be
under the pressure. We think this is a
manageable goal because we have fully
planned all of the ideas and thoughts about
this app idea.
Business
Payments
We want to make this a free app because we
think that it would be a good idea if the
government invested in the making of this,
we think this because the idea would benefit
them because it would show that they were
trying to improve test
results, as well as helping change
education.
Customer
Pledges
We plan on updating certain areas of the app
every year, this would ensure that new tricks
could be added, as well as the changes in
exam structure could be edited to facilitate for
when the new I-levels come into play.
Business
Case
We have decided to make this a free app for
all our consumers, we have decided to do
this because we feel that this would be a
good investment for the government because
it would show they were concerned with the
education system. We think that the
idea would be to make it free so as to
encourage people to use our app.
Marketing
Strategy
We want to try and publicise this through
schools, youth centres and even by putting it
in local newsletters, this would help show
parents that this app is a good idea as well as
being very educational.
Wildcar
d
snAPP’s wildcard is the advice column
which is free to all users who want
help from other people. It is where
someone can talk about their
scenario that they do not know how to
deal with, and other users can reply
with advice. The chats will be
monitored at all times so no cyber
Thank you!
