- 2. Pitch Introduction What isour App about? We are developing an app that assists with writing letters, using examples of many letters from all topics (e.g invites). Our app targets young teens (12+) and adults. Also, it helps those with special educational needs (e.g dyslexia) and guides the user to improve their skills on letters. Why is our App different from others? We believe our app is different from others as many people can benefit to it and as it is original and has never done before. It may be successful if made into an actual app.

- 4. Problems Types of problemsothers struggle with Although technology has risen in the recent years, we still write letters in order to communicate with others. However, we may struggle with writing letters for different reasons. For example, many people struggle to write formal letters as they may struggle with: -Presentation -In the correct format -Relevant to the topic -Grammatical or spelling mistakes -To write ‘Yours sincerely’ if you have started the letter with the name of the person, or ‘Yours faithfully’ if you have started with Dear Sir/Madam

- 6. Core Question How doesour App resolve the problems from earlier? Our app would show examples of letters of all topics (in this case, formal letters) which will include assistance on the problems from earlier (e.g if grammatically incorrect, the word or phrase would be underlined red). Also, although our app’s aim is to improve the user’s writing skills by showing examples of letters, it would have the option for the user to type their letter of any topic, while the app corrects if necessary.
- 7. Key Insight Statement(s) Howdoes our App support you on writing letters? You would be able to save the letter you want and still access it on Photos without needing bluetooth, wifi or service. Also, when writing your letter you can refer to the example for clarification purposes. This is because our main goal is to improve the user’s skill on writing letters and supporting those with special educational needs.

Competitors in theMarket Who are our competitors? a) English Letter Writing Free is a free app that helps consumers write letters from all types (e.g from business letters to Wedding Cancellation letters.) b) English Letters is a free app that helps you with writing English Letters or emails. It features: - Searchable list of thousands of English Mail Templates - Bookmark letters you like and manage them - Letter Writing Guide - Compose letters that base on available templates c) English Essays is also a free app that give 100+ samples of essays that could help you with your own.

- 15. Feasibility Any possible problemswith the App? Here are a few problems that may occur with the app: -Autocorrect may not work -Possible crashes and glitches -Errors on which the letter the user requested -Settings and Help options may not work Another problem may be the consumer may have high expectations for the app, however once downloading and opening, it may not meet their expectations. Therefore, losing customers.
- 16. Business Case &Customer Pledges How would businesses help us advertise our App? Although our app is free, we would join up with big companies, for example, apps such as YouTube or Minecraft who would advertise our app. This would attract consumers to be interested in buying our app. Of course, this would cost money, especially if we will be advertising with the same company for a year.
- 17. Marketing Strategy How wouldwe advertise? We would advertise by: -Putting advertisements of our app on other apps (this will cause consumers to see our app and want to download it, especially if our app interests them) -Promotional posters/billboards that can reach out to the general public, showing them the prospects of our app -TV advertisements can be a easy and effective way to advertise our app. This would cause people of all ages to see our app and widen our target audience Advertising our app is good as not only does it make members of the public aware of it, but also improving writing skills from a young age.
- 18. Other Information Any otherinformation? This would be the type of advertisement we would use to advert our app. This advertisement would be viewed on websites and apps on both Apple and Android and we created it through BannerSnack. In addition, our app is free.
