Happy Thoughts App

TEAM DRAGONFLY
Happy Thoughts
We are developing a Happy Thoughts app to
help teens conquer depression and other
depressive mental illnesses through fun, happy
methods; that aim to encourage and promote
happy thoughts within the young person.
Why we’ve made our Happy
Thoughts app?
We have made this app to help those with
mental health issues as we have first hand
experience of mental health issues and have
seen the effects on teens. We combined this
issue with a solution that they can use at all
times; on something that most people have; a
phone.
The Problem
Our app aims to help teenagers feel better
about themselves, Happy Thoughts boosts
your self-esteem when you might be lacking
confidence. We want to stop teenagers from
feeling isolated and alone; therefore we
encourage them to share their happy thoughts
with friends and family.
Our Users
Our users will probably be young teens or our
age, or anyone particularly affected by emotion
based mental illnesses, we choose to help and
target our app to a younger group as we are
part of that age demographic.
How we plan to tackle our issue?
We will tackle our issue by promoting users to
share their happy thoughts, right daily
reflections and participate in happy activities
that the app will suggest.

The Data and Technical side of our
app
For our app to work properly we would need to
seek approval from Facebook to determine
whether we would be permitted to use their app
to link through to our app. Technically, we
would need to formulate our app through the
use of different layers of content.
Customer Pledges
As a company supporting the recovery of
mental health issues we promise to be judge
free and supportive, we guarantee a privacy
setting and an app experience that enables you
to help yourself.
Marketing Strategy
We will pay companies to put our advert on
their websites, apps and popular social media
such as: facebook, instagram, twitter. We will
only put our adverts on popular websites and
websites that our kind of customer will be
using.

Thank you for listening to our pitch and we
hope you have liked and support your ideas.
