fact app? Well, for the last few months, a low
pixelated game called flappy birds has been very
popular because of how addictive it is; we believe
our app can be like that. On the play store, we
checked to see if there was any apps similar that
were on offer. There was a small quantity of similar
apps, and we feel our app, including all it‟s features,
offers a better experience. Our app will not only be
practical. It will be professional and eye-catching.
The motto „knowledge is power‟ really comes into
effect where this app is concerned.

8. The main core feature of our app is the way you can change the
level of facts that are appropriate for the age of the user. It is a
great way to get the type of facts you want to learn. Therefore,
people of all ages can revise in a fun way and learn a vast variety
of factual information.

We feel the above reasons make our app unique.

12. Our group has learned a lot about these topics throughout
the apps for good course. It has really widened our
knowledge of I.C.T and how things like this are involved in
technology we use on a daily basis.
• Data is distinct pieces of information usually formatted in
a special way. All software is divided into two general
categories, data and programs. Data can exist in a variety
of forms- as numbers or text on pieces of paper, as bits
and bytes stored in electronic memory, or as facts stored
in a person‟s mind.
• Technical feasibility is a process of proving that a theory
or concept is technically possible. The purpose of the
technical feasibility step is to verify that the product will
achieve its end status and to confirm that there are no
production obstructions.

13. If we were to market our product our team would try to do it in
a cheap, but effective way. So let us run this past you…
• Nowadays, people find out things through adverts on the
TV, however most people try to avoid adverts. We have a
better way to advertise our product. In a popular magazine!
• Say for example our product was on show in a popular
magazine that a large age range of people would read. It is
much cheaper then paying for a television advert which is
key for being successful. So when people read our advert in
a magazine, they would talk about it amongst their friends
which would in return be free advertising!
• We could also create a website which has a direct link to
our app. After all, customers go for quick and easy! So I
believe that the way we would advertise our app would be
creative, cheap and very effective.

14. We presented three app ideas to an expert in app development
and she thought that the random fact app was the best idea and
could potentially be a successful idea in the app market.
She gave a very important input of what she thinks would really be
helpful for our app and how it doesn‟t have many competitors on
the play store. It played a big role in the creation of our app.
The expert also said that if we really wanted to make our app well
known and professional, we should contact a well known quiz
show and ask what type of subjects should be included. If our app
did go any further then we would try to do this.
