ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN:
Presentation of the following topics:
• -Types of Reading
• -Components of Good Reading
• -Types and Characteristics of Written Language
• Design interventions for non-numerates
• Crafting written language
3. FACILITATING FACTORS:
Reading strategies can help students access
information that is not explicitly stated. They
help readers infer meaning, make conclusions,
and generalize information. Reading strategies
are beneficial for texts that have complex ideas
and vocabulary.
5. RECOMMENDATION:
• It is suggested that there should be programs or
interventions that will cater non-readers which must
be relevant to the curriculum of education.
• Non-readers must be identified so that they will
be in line of focus during the vacant time of the
teachers. There should also be appropriate and
enough instructional materials that will be
administered on each reading difficulty of the
learners.
