This document provides an outline for teacher certification requirements, including: 1) Completing all coursework and internship through St. Rose so they can recommend certification. 2) Passing the Educating All Students exam which requires little preparation. 3) Completing the DASA workshop for an additional $95 fee by signing up through CITE. 4) Taking certification tests 107 and 108 after completing certain courses, with 107 focusing on fresh material and 108 including a video component. Both tests involve multiple choice and writing sections.

7. TESTS 107
& 108
107 should be taken fairly soon after you have
completed 505, 590, 503 and 510 while the material is
still fresh in your mind. It should not be taken before
you have completed these four courses.
108 should be taken after you have completed all six
courses, since one portion of the test includes material
from 540 and 550.

Both include complicated multi choice questions based
on content in paragraph and chart form. Both include
timed writing samples. 108 includes questions stemming
from a video based on teacher observations.

Please do not take both 107 and 108
on the same day. It’s too draining.
