The village of Gilakore in western Rajasthan has a scarcity of water, with some localities lacking any supply. Students and teachers from the local school organized a rally to the village water works department office to submit a letter requesting water be provided to the areas currently without it. The water works department has since started the process to extend the water supply lines to the listed locations, helping bring water access, a basic right, to more villagers.

2. Our village Gilakore comes under western rajasthan.Here
there is scarsity of water. In our village there are some
localities where there is no water supply. We want to
bring water supply there

3. Water is basic need and it is our right to get potable
water.

4. We prepared banners with slogans related to
the topic, role play was done in village, rally &
interaction with water works department.

5. We started a rally from our school to village and went to water works
department office. There we submitted a letter to them to arrange water
supply to the places where there is no supply.

6. The process has been started for Water supply in the
area which was listed in the letter.

7. All school teachers and
students were involved in the
activity.
