Once there lived a girl 
named Ruma. She was 
living with her parents 
in Erode district at 
Tamilnadu. Ruma was 14 
years old . She had a
and her pet dog usually 
came to the village 
school and sat near 
the class and listened 
to the classes taken 
by the teachers in 
the classroom. She 
went to the village 
houses and did the
Ruma’s father had loan in 
the bank. Due to these 
problems Ruma was not 
able to go to school. 
One Year when the 
yield was very high, 
there was two times 
profit for her father. 
Ruma pleaded her 
father
They asked her to write 
the entrance exam The 
principal was shocked 
when he saw Ruma’s 
exam results, as she 
has scored full marks. 
The principal asked 
Ruma,” You haven’t gone 
to school but how 
come you have written 
all the answer
The Principal admitted 
Ruma in the school 
and asked her to join 
school the next day. 
Ruma on her first day 
to school, she got 
frightened and sat on 
the last bench. When 
the class teacher
She answered her and 
sat down. When the 
exam dates were 
nearing. She started 
to revise her 
portions, completed 
her exams 
successfully. She 
ranked first in the
tuition for small 
children and earned 
some money with this 
money she paid her 
school fees and 
remaining amount was 
her savings. In the 
10th and 12th standard 
she achieved the state 
rank. She brought 
honours to her school, 
teachers and parents.
This helped Ruma to 
complete her school 
life and entered into 
the college life. She 
had to pay very less 
amount , as she had 
entered the college 
through scholarship. 
She stood first in the 
college also. She 
completed M.B.B.S. and
The money earned by 
her was useful for her 
to construct a new 
hospital . She gave free 
treatment only for the 
poor and needy people. 
Her village had a 
number of ponds , 
rivers around it. She 
thought that fishing 
could be a profitable
medicines for free. 
Isn’t Ruma, a girl star 
she even lead her 
village to a right and a 
profitable way. As a 
part time job she went 
to the villages and 
spent some time with 
some students. She 
helped uneducated 
children by paying the
