PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Co-CEO and CFO, HFW Communications, Inc., East Syracuse, NY 1996 – Present
As a Division CEO, I built a media and mailing business with revenues over $75 million by executing 8 business
stock and asset acquisitions, consolidating operations and implementing revenue growth strategies. Along with two
partners, I created a database business using governmental and industry data with revenues over $15 million. I
converted a traditional print-centric media business to a full multimedia offering providing print services, digital
marketing, social media advertising and consulting, website construction, and customer website hosting.
• Managed all financial and operational aspects of the business including accounting/finance, human
resources, taxation and financial statements.
• Created and implemented new processes to reduce time to market from 13 days to 4 days.
• Supervised IT, Production and Operations of media company which had up to 65 employees
• Managed creation of social media platforms with over 200k unique monthly visitors which resulted in a
significant increase of new business inquiries of more than 100%.
• Created advertising network on internal websites, hosted websites, and social media platforms for customers
and large agri-business clients
• Developed website hosting strategies for small to medium agri-business clients, including SEO promotion, IT
services, and advertising opportunities
• Developed and supervised large scale database management activities for consumer and
agricultural marketplaces using SQL which allowed the company to customize solutions for various industry
marketers.
• Created new database products with revenues in excess of $10 million based on both government and
commercial data sources
• Developed mentoring and educational programs to train and grow existing staff which resulted in a decrease
in turnover by 50%.
