Cosmetics Associate-On Call, Macy’s (Stanford, CA)
As an On Call associate for the cosmetics department, I picked up shifts for
many of the different counters including Channel, Clinique, Bare Minerals, Estee
Lauder, Dior and Lancôme. I quickly learned the products for each line so that I
could make recommendations and increase sales.

Nanny (Menlo Park, CA)
Worked during the school year 3 hours each day and all day during summer for a
10 year old child. Responsible for her safety and punctuality as I drove her to her
commitments such as tutoring and softball practices.

Young Dreamer Vuelta Grande, Guatemala Young Dreamer Network
The Young Dreamer Network and I traveled to Guatemala for community service.
We painted their only school, reinforced the wall to keep the school from sliding
down the hill, and we planted trees to prevent further erosion.

Young Dreamer Dota, Costa Rica Young Dreamers Network Total Hours: 192
The Young Dreamer Network and I went on a community service trip to Costa
Rica. We shoveled rocks into concrete mixer, carried wheel barrels full of cement
to the road, built a new road for the village and made eco-bricks out of bottles
and garbage. We did this to better the lives and environment of Dota.

Intern Standford Hospital, Goodman Simulation Center Everest Intersession
Internship Program Total Hours: 192
I was an intern for Stanford's Goodman Simulation Center. I used simulation
equipment, communicated with the head endoscopic surgeon, Dr. Lau, watched
the TRAMA room in action, helped during nurse training, and created an
organized study on the most efficient method of teaching students my age how to
use one of the basic simulators used in the Goodman Center.

National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine
I was nominated by a teacher or other adult to attend NYLF. Spent 10 days at
UCLA at the Forum with students my age who had also been nominated.
Watched live surgery, learned procedures of medical professionals, used
