SAHAYA is an organization that aims to provide quality education to underprivileged children in India so that they can stand on their own feet. It currently has 70 volunteers working with children in 7 schools, conducting 2 hour classes weekly to improve their English, computer, life, and social skills. The organization aims to address the stark realities that many children in government schools face, such as dropping out by 10th standard and lacking support and resources to pursue further education and opportunities.

5. Children in government schools are intelligent and normal as you and me. But most of them end up doing menial jobs.

6. Lose out the race..! These children are unaware of what future academic options are. Lacking adequate support and the proper educational background, they lose out the race of their true goals and aspirations.

8. 2 out of 3 2 out of every 3 teens respondents in survey indicates that they wanted to help, but don’t know how.

9. SAHAYA SAHAYA is an organization of youth people working amongst underprivileged kids, to provide them with quality education, so that one day it shall empower them to stand on their own feet. We strive to prepare them to face life better by improving their English communication skills, computer skills, life skills and their overall personality.

10. As a Youth As the youth of today, we are an empowered generation who are well aware of our democratic rights and our invaluable rights to freedom of speech. But in this fast paced life that we lead, we stand the risk of being self centered and hypocritical about the real issues that are of concern to our immediate community, our country and world at large.
